Uploading your sermon

There are three ways to hand a sermon to Church Media, and every one of them produces the same full set of 20 clips. Use whichever fits where your video already lives.

The three upload methods

  1. Upload a video file. Send the recording straight from your computer or media drive.
  2. Paste a YouTube link. If your service is already on YouTube, just copy the video URL.
  3. Drop a Vimeo URL. Hosting on Vimeo works exactly the same way.

Which works best?

None is "better" for clip quality — the output is identical. Choose by convenience: if your sermons are already published to YouTube or Vimeo, a link is the fastest path. If your recording isn't online yet, a direct file upload saves you a step.

Video quality and length tips

  • Use your cleanest recording — a clear, well-lit shot gives better-looking clips and graphics.
  • Good, balanced audio matters most, since captions are generated from the spoken word.
  • A standard full-length sermon is ideal; there's plenty of material for the best-moment detection to work with.
Tip

If you're pasting a link, make sure the video is public or unlisted — not private — so the system can reach it.

What happens after upload

Once you submit, the system scans the full sermon, finds the strongest moments, and builds your clips and graphics in your brand colors. Everything is delivered within 12–24 hours — no further input needed from you until they land.
