A few years ago, Eric Smith and Jon-Michael Sherman were at a pastors conference. Instead of pitching anything, they spent the week asking pastors the same question over and over: "When it comes to tools, what would actually make your life better?"

The answers came back fast and surprisingly aligned. Sermon prep was eating the week. The follow-up after Sunday was falling through the cracks. Volunteer placement was a guess.
