Two pastors. One situation.
Two different futures.
1. Two pastors
Every lesson opens with two pastors facing the same thing: the same church, the same pressure, the same setback.
2. Break the old story
One is living an old story. Name it, count what it costs, and replace it with a new belief, reinforced from Scripture, reason, history, and experience.
3. Do now
A new belief leads to a new future. Every lesson ends with something to do this week, not just something to agree with.
Stop living the old story. Start leading from a new one.
The stories pastors tell themselves
- דVision can wait until things settle down.” So it never gets cast.
- דI need everyone to like me.” So the hard conversations never happen.
- דNo one can do it as well as I can.” So everything still runs through you.
- דMy identity is my ministry.” So every Sunday grades your worth.
- דI can handle what destroys other leaders.” Until you can't.
Where this course takes you
- ✓Forty old stories named in the words pastors actually use.
- ✓A new belief for each one, and what it costs to keep the old one.
- ✓Concrete “do now” steps at the end of every lesson.
- ✓A path from how you lead, to how you live, to how you last.
- ✓Grace underneath all of it: everything in and through Him, not more striving.
The problem behind
the problem.
You can't see what you can't see.
A lot of us pride ourselves on self-awareness. But there are stories we tell ourselves that just aren't true, and we're all living the story we tell ourselves.
The numbers show the lid. Not the reason.
Data can show you the lids and the gaps. Underneath them there's always another layer: a pain, a wrong belief, a betrayal, a story the lead pastor is still living.
Not growing is a decision.
Growing is a decision too. “I don't care about the numbers” usually means “I'm unwilling to change.” The lessons are blunt on purpose, because they're removing lids.
This isn't a hustle course.
It's not about working harder and striving more. Everything is in and through Him. Slow down, be thankful, look in your child's face. The glory of God runs through all of it.
40 old stories. 40 new beliefs.
Every lesson names a story pastors tell themselves, then replaces it with the belief that changes the way you lead, live, and last. Watch in order as a practice to renew your mind, or jump to the one you already suspect.
Same situation. Different belief. Different future.
